Fabric: Karlu Canvas

Aboriginal range Karlu by visual artist Helena Geiger created this exclusive range with Sebel.
The Karlu design brings together the shapes of the stunning rock formations and huge, piled granite boulders found in the beautiful sacred reserve known as Karlu Karlu in the Australian Northern Territory.
It is an area of great cultural significance with many Indigenous stories.
Helena Geiger is a contemporary visual artist with an Indigenous heritage of Gumbayngirr, from Northern NSW.
Helena’s work is heavily inspired by nature's detail.
She has spent extensive time living and travelling through the Northern Territory, and her memories of waterfalls, desert landscapes, rich red dirt, coloured ochres and weathered rocks form the foundations of much of her art.
Her textile work features batik hand-dyed and printed patterns and has been used in both fashion and commercial furnishing applications.
Helena describes herself as an Indigenous artist producing landscape inspired work that is contemporary and relevant to current times.
Her work has been exhibited extensively in Australia and is included in collections both within Australia and abroad.
